Onboarding Walkthrough
After you register for PropellerDeck, you are guided through a short onboarding questionnaire. This six-step flow collects context about your project and goals so PropellerDeck can automatically configure a tailored workspace for you.
The Six Steps
Step 1 — Organization Name Enter the name of your company, startup, or project. This becomes the name of your organization on the platform.
Step 2 — Current Phase Select the stage your project is currently in (for example, idea stage, early development, or growth). This helps PropellerDeck surface the most relevant features and AI tools for where you are right now.
Step 3 — Primary Needs Choose your top priorities from a list of options such as product planning, content creation, market research, or technical development. You can select multiple items.
Step 4 — Target Market Describe or select the audience you are building for. This informs how your AI agents are contextualized and how workspace content is framed.
Step 5 — Idea Description Provide a brief description of your product or idea in your own words. This free-text field is used to seed your workspace with relevant context and AI prompts.
Step 6 — Plan Selection Choose the subscription plan that fits your needs. You can start on the free tier and upgrade at any time. See Free vs. Paid Plans for a comparison.
Auto-Workspace Creation
Once you complete the questionnaire, PropellerDeck automatically creates your first workspace based on your answers. The workspace comes pre-configured with relevant sections, prompts, and agent settings tailored to your project context.
Skipping or Returning Later
You can skip individual steps or exit the onboarding flow entirely and complete it later. Your partial answers are saved. To return to the onboarding flow, navigate to your workspace settings. See What Is a Workspace? to learn more about what was created for you.
