Telegram Integration
The Telegram integration lets you link a Telegram bot to your PropellerDeck account. Once connected, you can receive workspace notifications directly in Telegram and send commands back to the platform without opening a browser.
Setting Up the Integration
- Click the profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- In the left-hand sidebar, click Credentials & Integrations.
- Locate the Telegram section and click Generate Token.
PropellerDeck will generate a unique token and display it on the screen. This token is what you will use to link your Telegram bot to your account.
Linking Your Telegram Bot
After generating your token, follow the on-screen setup instructions:
- Open Telegram and search for the PropellerDeck bot (the bot name is shown in the instructions).
- Start a conversation with the bot.
- Send the token as a message when prompted. The bot will confirm once your account is successfully linked.
Once linked, the bot will begin forwarding notifications from your PropellerDeck workspaces and agents directly to your Telegram account.
Keeping Your Token Private
Your Telegram token grants access to your PropellerDeck notifications. Do not share it with anyone or post it in public channels. If you believe your token has been exposed, return to Credentials & Integrations, revoke the existing token, and generate a new one. You will need to re-link the bot with the new token.
