Dropbox Integration
PropellerDeck can sync the files in a workspace with a Dropbox folder, keeping your local workspace files and your Dropbox storage in sync automatically. This is a per-workspace integration, which means you configure it separately for each workspace rather than once for your entire account.
Enabling Dropbox Sync
- Open the workspace you want to connect to Dropbox.
- Navigate to Workspace Settings using the settings icon or menu within that workspace.
- Find the Dropbox Sync section and toggle it to enabled.
Authenticating with Dropbox
After enabling Dropbox Sync, PropellerDeck will prompt you to authenticate. Click the Connect Dropbox button. You will be redirected to Dropbox's OAuth 2.0 authorization page, where you log in to your Dropbox account (if not already logged in) and grant PropellerDeck permission to access your files.
Once you approve the connection, you will be returned to PropellerDeck automatically.
Selecting a Target Folder
After authentication, a folder browser appears. Navigate through your Dropbox folder structure and select the folder you want to sync with this workspace. Click Confirm to save your selection.
How Sync Works
Dropbox sync is bidirectional: files you add, edit, or delete in your PropellerDeck workspace are mirrored to the linked Dropbox folder, and changes made to that Dropbox folder are pulled into your workspace. This keeps both locations consistent without manual uploads or downloads.
