Voting and Commenting on Feature Requests

How to browse, upvote, and comment on feature requests in PropellerDeck to help shape the product roadmap.

Voting and Commenting on Feature Requests

Voting and commenting on feature requests is how the PropellerDeck community signals what matters most. Your upvotes help the team prioritise what to build next.

Browsing Feature Requests

To see all feature requests, navigate to /feature-requests. You can browse the full list of submitted requests. Use the search bar to find requests related to a specific topic, or filter by category or status to narrow the list.

Upvoting a Request

If you find a feature request that matches something you want, upvote it to show your support:

  1. Open the feature request by clicking its title.
  2. Click the upvote button (the arrow or thumbs-up icon) on the request.

Your vote is registered immediately. Requests with more upvotes are more visible and carry more weight when the team reviews priorities. You can also remove your upvote if you change your mind by clicking the button again.

Adding Comments

You can leave a comment on any feature request to add context, share your use case, or discuss the idea with others:

  1. Open the feature request.
  2. Scroll to the Comments section.
  3. Type your comment in the text field and click Post Comment.

Comments support threading — you can reply directly to another comment to keep related discussion organised. This is useful for debating specifics or building on someone else's suggestion.

Attaching Files to Comments

If you want to include a screenshot, diagram, or supporting file with your comment, use the attachment option in the comment editor. Click the attachment icon, select your file, and it will be uploaded alongside your comment.

See Tracking Request Status to understand how requests move from open to implemented.
