Requesting an AI Employee
You can request a custom AI Employee directly from your Organization Dashboard. A PropellerDeck architect will review your submission and build the agent to your specifications.
How to Submit a Request
- Open the Organization Dashboard from the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the AI Employees section.
- Click the Submit Request button.
- Fill in the request form with as much detail as possible (see below).
- Click Submit to send your request for review.
What to Include in Your Request
The more detail you provide, the better your AI Employee will match your needs. When filling out the form, describe:
- Purpose — what role should this AI Employee fill? For example: "A first-line customer support agent that handles billing questions."
- Tools — what capabilities does it need? For example: access to your knowledge base, the ability to create tasks, or integration with external systems.
- Knowledge — what information should it have? For example: your product documentation, internal policies, or FAQ content.
- Behavior — how should it respond? For example: tone, escalation rules, or specific things it should never do.
Tracking Your Request
After you submit, you can track the status of your request in the AI Employees section of the Organization Dashboard. Requests move through the following stages:
- Pending — your request has been received and is waiting for an architect to pick it up.
- In Progress — an architect is actively building your AI Employee.
- Completed — your AI Employee is ready and available in your organization.
You will receive a notification when the status changes. Once completed, see Managing AI Employees to configure and deploy your new agent.
