Available Tools
Tools extend your AI agent's capabilities beyond conversation. By default, only a core set of tools is active. You can toggle any tool on or off by clicking the gear icon (⚙️) in the chat panel and browsing the Tools section.
Tool Categories
ChatTools
Core utilities for general use — includes web search and the ability to download content from URLs for the agent to read and summarize.
FileTools
Lets your agent read, write, and manage files within your workspace. Useful for processing uploaded documents or generating output files.
WorkspaceTools
Gives your agent access to workspace-level operations, including indexing content and updating its memory about your preferences and context over time.
EmailTools
Enables your agent to send and receive emails on your behalf. Connect your email account in Workspace Settings before enabling this tool.
PythonTools
Allows your agent to write and execute Python code directly — useful for data processing, automation, calculations, and generating charts or reports.
ExcelTools
Provides deep spreadsheet analysis capabilities. Your agent can read, interpret, and manipulate Excel files (.xlsx, .xls) using this tool.
GithubTools
Connects your agent to GitHub for repository management tasks — reading code, creating branches, opening pull requests, and reviewing diffs.
DocumentationTools
Enables your agent to create formatted documentation files and structured documents from conversations or research.
WebSearchTools
Offers two modes: comprehensive search for in-depth research and fast search for quick lookups. Both modes pull live results from the web.
TaskManagementTools
Lets your agent create, update, assign, and organize tasks and projects within your PropellerDeck workspace.
PresentationTools
Empowers your agent to build presentation decks (PPTX) from outlines or content you provide.
TrelloTools
Integrates with your Trello boards, enabling your agent to manage cards, lists, and boards directly from the chat.
