ICD & OPS Browser

PropellerDeck includes built-in browsers for the ICD-10-GM (diagnosis) and OPS (procedure) code catalogs. These let you search, browse, and explore codes without leaving the platform.

ICD-10-GM Browser

The ICD browser gives you access to the full German modification of the International Classification of Diseases.

Searching Codes

• By code: Type a code like I50.1 to jump directly to the entry.
• By text: Type a description like "heart failure" to search across all code descriptions.
• By chapter: Browse the hierarchical chapter structure to explore related codes.

Code Details

Each code entry shows:

• The official code and description
• Inclusion and exclusion notes
• Coding hints and guidelines
• Links to related codes

OPS Browser

The OPS browser covers the German procedure classification (Operationen- und Prozedurenschlüssel).

Searching Procedures

• By code: Type a code like 5-820 to find the procedure.
• By text: Type a description to search across all procedure entries.
• By chapter: Browse the chapter hierarchy.

Procedure Details

Each procedure entry includes:

• Code and description
• Inclusion and exclusion notes
• Additional code requirements (if applicable)
• Related procedures

Using Browsers with the Grouper

When working in the Grouper tab, you can open the ICD or OPS browser in a side panel to search for codes and insert them directly into the grouping input fields.

AI-Powered Code Lookup

Your AI agent can also look up codes for you. Ask questions like:

• "What is the ICD code for type 2 diabetes?"
• "Find the OPS code for laparoscopic cholecystectomy"
• "What secondary diagnoses should I consider for this case?"
